Every Monday, the entire Reserve Line Police will parade for inspection of their decorations, arms, uniforms, horses, horse harness, certificates of appointment, and uniform and equipment books. They will be inspected by the senior gazetted officer or Reserve Inspector present.
On these occasions, new departmental orders prescribed for that district, published in the Police Gazette, important changes in laws and regulations affecting the police, and other similar matters will be explained to the constables.
