Section 283 · Paragraph 274. Officer-in-Charge of Police Station to Supervise the Issue of Check Slips

Officers in charge of police stations should supervise the issuance of interrogation slips. They will be held responsible for their correct and regular use, for examining them, and for ensuring that suspicious and unverified activities are properly entered in the relevant history sheet. At each police station, a tabular list of all interrogation slips issued and received will be maintained, indicating the name, destination, history sheet number, arrival and departure time of each person for whom they were issued. When interrogation slips are sent to other provinces, the English counterfoil must be filled in.
