Section 488 · Paragraph 473. Procedure for award of Class A reward to a person who has absconded from the district

As soon as a reward of category (a) is offered in a case having more than local importance or in which there is reason to believe that the person wanted has left the district, a notification shall be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Criminal Investigation Department for publication in the Criminal Investigation Gazette.
