Inspection of Police Guards posted at Headquarters - Every night a patrol party from the Reserve Lines should inspect all Police Guards deputed from the Lines to Headquarters, provided that the Superintendent may, with the approval of the Deputy Inspector General, direct that any Guard located far from the Lines may be inspected frequently or unexpectedly instead of at night. The patrol party shall inspect all Government buildings that fall on its route and ensure that they are secure.
