Section 567 · Paragraph 547. Duty of Superintendent of Police to command a parade

The Superintendent of Police, when not on tour, will command the general parade of the police force in the reserve lines at least once a week and will also be present at the inspection of the formations at the headquarters police station. He should frequently examine the quality of instruction given in the lines and stations. He should appoint days for the Assistant and Deputy Superintendents of Police to attend parades in the lines and headquarters police stations. Thursday will be a holiday for drill.
