Section 528 · Paragraph 509. Procedure to be followed by the Appellate Authority on admission of an appeal

When the appellate authority entertains the appeal and calls for the records, all the papers should have been considered by the penal officer against whose order the appeal is preferred.
Copies of the orders passed in the appeal, supplied by the appellate authority to the Superintendent of Police, should always be kept on record along with the file of the departmental inquiry and should be sent along with the records when they are called for.
