Section 477 · Para-463-A

Under section 2 of the Police Act, the Governor has decided that the conditions of service of the subordinate ranks of the police force recruited under the Police Act in respect of pay, leave, pension, allowances, provident fund and such other conditions of service not specified in these regulations shall be regulated by the Governor under paragraph (b) of sub-section (a) of section 241 of the Government of India Act, 1935 and pending the making of such regulations, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 15(2) of the Government of India (Commencement and Transitional Provisions) Order, 1936 and by the rules exercisable under section 276 of the said Act.
