Section 453 · Paragraph 442. Procedure when the concurrence of a Deputy Inspector General is required for the promotion of an officer

When the promotion of an officer requires the concurrence of the Deputy Inspector General, the character papers of that officer and of any officer proposed to be superseded, giving reasons for the supersession, with comments, should be sent to the Deputy Inspector General.
