Section 468 · Paragraph 456. Determination of seniority

Promotion of constables of the Civil and Armed Police to the post of Head Constables shall be made by seniority from the list of constables eligible for promotion. For this purpose, seniority shall be determined:
(a) among those who have qualified in Police Training Schools in different sessions, by the session in which they qualified;
(b) among those who have qualified in the same session, by the aggregate marks obtained;
(c) among those who have qualified in the same session with the same aggregate marks, by the length of service.
