When proposing a transfer from a district, the Superintendent of Police should submit the character and service list of the officer to be transferred.
With the consent of the Superintendent concerned, mutual exchanges of Head Constables and Constables may be arranged. Proposed exchanges will be reported to the Deputy Inspectors General. Travel allowances will not be payable on such transfers.
