Section 5 · Paragraph 4. Assistant to the Inspector General, Government Railway Police

The Assistant to the Inspector General in charge of the Government Railway Police exercises the same powers, duties and responsibilities as the Deputy Inspector General of the Range in respect of the Railway Police Stations under his charge, except the power to dismiss Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors, which remains vested in the Police Headquarters and the Deputy Inspector General of Railways.
