Section 209 · Paragraph 200. Charges for special police protection

District and Municipal Boards and Notified Areas are not, as a rule, liable to pay any charges for special police protection on the occasion of fairs, etc., which are of the nature of instituted public duties. Police deputed on duty at district exhibitions are provided for under Section 13 of the Police Act and recoveries are made from the exhibition authorities under the same section. Detailed rules regarding these charges can be found in Chapter Fourteen of the Office Manual.
