Section 394 · Paragraph 384. Officer-in-Charge to report illness of constables under his command and to have them admitted to hospital

Every officer in charge of a police station, every guard in charge of every outpost, barracks, escort or other detachment, every commander or constable is responsible for reporting illness among the constables under his command and for securing their admission to hospitals. Officers found negligent in this regard should be prosecuted under Chapter 21 of these regulations. To prove such negligence it will be necessary to show that the officer concerned knew or could, by the exercise of reasonable diligence, have reason to believe that a constable under his command was unwell.
