The English order book shall be written daily by an officer not below the rank of Inspector and signed by the Superintendent or, in his absence, the Officer-in-Charge of Headquarters. Upon returning to Headquarters, the Superintendent shall examine the entries and verify that he has checked the entries for the period of his absence. Subsequent executive orders shall be issued separately by the Superintendent or Officer-in-Charge of Headquarters. Head constables shall be designated by their number, and constables by their number and name.
In orders relating to escorts, the number of prisoners or the amount of funds to be escorted should always be stated.
