धारा 53 · Payment of salary to president out of funds

- With the sanction of the State Government a salary of such amount as the State Government may fix may be paid to the president of a committee not being a salaried [officer of the Government] [The words 'Servant of the Crown' were substituted for the words 'officer of Government' by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937.][Government,] [Substituted for the word 'Crown' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] out of the municipal fund.
