धारा 211 · Power of entry for purpose of preventing spread of disease

(1)

The [Medical Officer of Health or any other officer authorised by the committee [or executive officer] [Substituted by Punjab Act No. 3 of 1933.] may enter, at any time, after 'three hours' notice into any building or premises in which any infectious disease is reported or suspected to exist, for the purpose of inspecting such building or premises.]

(2)

No such inspection shall be made except in the hours between sunrise and sunset.
