धारा 49 · What places distrainer may force open

- Section 131(1). - It shall be lawful for the distrainer to force open any stable, cow house, granary, godown, out house or other such building, and he may also enter any dwelling house, for the purpose of distraining the produce of the charged or mortgaged land stored therein:Provided that it shall not be lawful for such distrainer to break open or enter any place if such place is an apartment in the actual occupancy of a woman, except as hereinafter provided.
