धारा 9 · Issue of duplicate licence

(1)

When the duplicate licence is issued under rule 7 or 8, it shall be clearly stamped "Duplicate" in red ink and shall be marked with the date of issue of the duplicate and with the seal of the licensing authority.

(2)

If the licensing authority which issues a duplicate licence is not the authority by whom the original licence was issued, it shall intimate that fact of issuance of the duplicate licence to that authority.

(3)

If the licensing authority which affixes a new photograph to a duplicate licence is not the authority by whom the original licence was issued, it shall forward the second copy of the photograph to that authority for record.
