धारा 16 · Determination of vacancies

(1)

The number of vacancies required to be filled up in the cadre of Civil Judges from time to time shall be decided by the Government in consultation with the High Court and requisition shall be sent to the Commission accordingly.

(2)

The Commission shall, after receipt of requisition from the Government, notify the number of vacancies required to be filled up and invite applications from eligible candidates for recruitment, under Rule 15.

(3)

The process of recruitment shall be completed by the Commission, as far as possible, within a period of ten months from the date of issuance of advertisement.
