धारा 26B · Journey by taxi

- Every member (including members of his family) shall be entitled to travel to any [place in India or outside India] [w.e.f. 1.8.1997.] by hiring a taxi. He shall be reimbursed the expenses so incurred on furnishing a cash receipt from the taxi owner or driver indicating the name of the member, date of journey, places visited alongwith the distance travelled, the amount paid by him and the registration number of the taxi:Provided that the total expenses incurred shall not exceed the amount of [Seventy thousand rupees per annum] [Substituted by Haryana Notification No. 83- TA(Gnl)/98/60 dated 30.9.1998.] as provided under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Act.]
