धारा 28 · Appeals

(1)

Where a Special Magistrate in any district passes a sentence of transportation for a term not exceeding two years or of imprisonment for a term not exceeding four years, or of fine, an appeal shall lie to the Court of Session.

(2)

An appeal under sub-section (1) shall be presented within thirty days from the date of the sentence.
