धारा 24 · Special Magistrate

- Any Presidency Magistrate or Magistrate of the First Class who has exercised powers as such for a period of not less than four years may be invested by the [appropriate Government] [Words substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937.] with the powers of a Special Magistrate under this Act.
