धारा 140 · Tables of tolls to be shown on demand

A Council imposing any toll under this Act, shall cause to be kept at each place where such toll is to be collected, a table showing the amount leviable in all cases provided for in the by-laws including the terms, if any, on which the liability to pay such tolls may be compounded by periodical payment; and it shall be the duty of every person authorised to demand payment of a toll, to show such table on the request of any person from whom such demand is made.
