Section 42 · General powers of Chief Executive Councillor

(1)

The Chief Executive Councillor shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions as are conferred on him by or under this Act.

(2)

[ The Chief Executive Councillor shall make, for the convenient transaction of business of the Council, allocation among such Executive Councillors of the said business in so far as it is not business with respect to which the Chief Executive Councillor is by or under this Act required to act in his discretion as he thinks fit.] [Sub-section (2) substituted by W.B.
