No wall shall be constructed of easily inflammable materials. For the purpose of this sub-rule easily inflammable material will not include teak, sal, shisham, deodar, kail or other wood as per Indian Standard Institution specifications for such work.(2)
No masonry wall other than party wall shall be built in clay mortar to a greater height than one store and such wall shall be plastered or pointed so as to render it impermeable and damp proof. The minimum thickness of such a wall shall in no case be less than 20 centimetres.Your private note on this section
