धारा 3 · Section 3

It shall be the duty of the chiefs and the headmen of villages to report to the Deputy Commissioner or his Assistants all heinous crimes, violent deaths, and serious accidents occurring within their jurisdiction, and all the inhabitants of the Lushai Hills are bound to give aid, when required to do so, far the maintenance of order or the apprehension of offenders.
