धारा 6 · Appointment of the Council Forest Officer, survey and demarcation of the area proposed to constitute a reserved forest and enquiry into existing rights

After the issue of a notification under Section 5, an officer (hereinafter called the Council Forest Settlement Officer) shall be appointed by the Chief Executive Member for survey and demarcation of the areas and also for inquiry into any existing right or rights of any person in the said areas.(2)
The Council Forest Settlement Officer shall ordinarily be a person other than a Council Forest Officer, but a Council Forest Officer may be appointed to assist the Council Forest Settlement Officer in the discharge of his duty specified in this section.इस धारा पर आपका निजी नोट
