धारा 7 · Confiscation by the District Magistrate

- The police is empowered to confiscate any vehicle, Agricultural cattle or its beef in case of any violation of Section 4, 5 and 6 and the District Magistrate shall confiscate such vehicle, Agricultural cattle or its beef as per the provisions of Section 100 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (No. 2 of 1974) in following manner, namely :-

(a)

He shall take possession of the vehicle;

(b)

He may sent the Agricultural cattle or its beef into the custody of any organization or person registered with the Chhattisgarh Go-Seva Ayog; and

(c)

The beef of Agricultural cattle shall be disposed of by the Pashudhan Vikas Vibhag in such manner as it deems fit.
