Section 212 · Existing institutions to continue till new institutions are established

- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the existing Gram Sabhas, Blocks, Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads as established under the existing laws shall be deemed to have been duly established under this Act, unless new Gram Sabhas, Blocks, Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads are established under the provisions of this Act.
