Section 25 · Power to close paths and waterways in reserved forests

A Forest Officer may, with the previous approval of the State Government or any officer duly authorised in this behalf, close any public or private path or waterway in a reserved forest, provided that a substitute path or waterway, which the State Government considers reasonably convenient, already exists or has been provided or constructed by the Forest Officer in lieu thereof.
