Section 34 · Proof of sanction

The sanction for prosecution of a Government servant for an offence under this Act, issued under section 197 of the Code of criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), and purporting to be duly authenticated, and sealed shall be admissible in evidence without formal proof: Provided that where the facts constituting the offence do not appear on the face of the sanction, the court may call the officer authenticating the sanction to give evidence before it.
