Section 16 · Punishment for falsification of bid-sheets and manipulation of transit passes

- Whoever, being an officer,-

(i)

manipulates bid-sheets in relation to auction of forest produce, or

(ii)

manipulates issue of fictitious transit passes with a view to give benefit to any person or for causing wrongful loss to the Government Department.
shall be punished with imprisonment of either description which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.
