Section 6 · Duties of Wild Life Preservation Officer

- It shall be the duty of the Wild Life Preservation Officer to advise the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu through the Conservator of Forests-

(1)

in the selection of areas to be declared as Game Sanctuaries;

(2)

in formulating the policy in granting licences and permits under this Act and administration of Game Sanctuaries;

(3)

in the matter of framing rules under section 43; and

(4)

on any other matter connected with the preservation and protection of animals and birds which may be referred to it by the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu.
