Section 89 · Government pleader not to receive money direct or to give receipts

- A Government pleader has no authority, and a District Officer cannot authorise him, to receive money direct from the Court or from any person indebted to the State, or to give receipts or valid discharges for any sum due to Government on any account whatsoever.
