Section 78 · Enquiry about debtor's property

- Before application is made for the execution of a decree, the District Officer shall ascertain what property, movable or immovable, the debtor possesses. Inquiries of this nature can be made through such trustworthy agency as the District Officer may think proper to employ. Bona fide travelling expenses-incurred by the Officer deputed by the District Officer to make the enquiry should be allowed.
