यह परिभाषा अधिनियम की परिभाषा-धारा से ली गई है।

any person (other than an apprentice employed under the Apprentices Act, 1961) who is employed by an industrial establishment to do any skilled, semi-skilled or unskilled, manual, operational, supervisory, managerial, administrative, technical or clerical
