धारा 146 · Superior land-owners? dues

Where a superior landowner is entitled to receive in respect of
any land from an inferior landowner dues in kind or in cash of fluctuating quantity or amount, the
Collector may—
(a) on the application of both landowners, or
(b) with the previous sanction of the Local Government, on the application either of them, commute those dues into a fixed percentage of the land-revenue payable by the inferior landowner in respect of the land
