धारा 5 · Admissibility of daily allowance

- The daily allowance shall be admissible to a functionary for a block of twenty-four hours absence from his head quarter for the journey exceeding eight kilo metres for attending to official work. The following percentage of daily allowance is admissible for a journey undertaken by him for more than eight kilo metres from his headquarters: -

(a) Daily allowance for not more than six hours	...30 per cent.
(b) Daily allowance for more than six hours, butless than twelve hours	...70 per cent.
(c) Daily allowance for more than twelve hours.	.... 100 per cent.
