धारा 4 · Resignation of members, vice-chairman and vice-president of panchayat

- Any member or vice-chairman of a district panchayat or of a panchayat union council or any member or vice-president of a village panchayat may resign his office by giving notice in writing addressed to the chairman of the district panchayat or panchayat union council or the president of the village panchayat, as the case may be, and deliver it in person or by post under acknowledgement with a copy marked to the Inspector.
