धारा 2 · Report and saving provision

(1)

The [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969 as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (2nd Amendment) Order 1969.] Cotton Control Rules, 1943, are hereby repealed.

(2)

Notwithstanding such repeal, any order made, notification issued, right accrued, penalty incurred or anything done or deemed to have been done under the said rules shall, so far as may be deemed to have been made, issued, accrued, incurred or does under the corresponding provisions of these rules.
