धारा 2 · Definition

- In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context :-

(i)

'Act' means the Banking Companies Act, 1949 (X of 1949) as amended from time to time.

(ii)

'Company' means a company to which the provisions of the Act apply.

(iii)

'Form' means a form given in the Appendix to these rules.

(iv)

References to Indian Companies Act, 1913 in these rules shall be deemed to be references to corresponding provisions of the Indian Companies Act, 1956, in relation to banking companies wound up on or after the 1st of April, 1956.
