धारा 17A · [ Account of election expenses and maximum [limit] [Sections 17-A and 17-B inserted vide Act No. 11 of 1995 effective w.e.f. 1.8.1995.] thereof

(1)
Every candidate at an election shall, either by himself or by his election agent [or by any other person with his authority, consent or knowledge] [Inserted vide Act No. 23 of 2000.], keep a separate and correct account of all expenditure in connection with the election incurred or authorised by him or by election agent [or by any other person with his authority, consent or knowledge] [Inserted vide Act No. 23 of 2000.] between the date on which he has been nominated and the date of declaration of the result thereof, both dates inclusive.(2)
The account shall contain such particulars, as may be prescribed by the State Government in consultation with the State Election Commission.(3)
The total of the said expenditure shall not exceed such amount as may be prescribed by the State Government in consultation with the State Election Commission.इस धारा पर आपका निजी नोट
