The State Government may appoint for each group a Commandant who shall be a person eligible to hold the post of a District Superintendent and an Assistant Commandant [and an Adjutant who shall be persons] [These words were substituted for the words 'who shall be a person' by Bombay 48 of 1954, section 3(1).] eligible to hold the post of an Assistant or a Deputy Superintendent.(2)
Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the State Government may appoint such Military Officer as it deems fit to be a Commandant or Assistant Commandant, [or Adjutant] [These words were added, by Bombay 48 of 1954, section 3(2).].(3)
The Commandant, the Assistant Commandant, [the Adjutant] [These words were inserted, by Bombay 48 of 1954, section 3 (3)] and every other officer so appointed shall have and may exercise such powers and authority as may be provided by or under this Act.इस धारा पर आपका निजी नोट
