धारा 1 · Short title, extent and commencement

(1)

This Act may be called the Bombay Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953.

(2)

[ It extends to the whole of the [Union Territory of [Delhi] [Substituted by Maharashtra Act 36 of 1961, Section 4.]]]

(3)

It shall come into force [***] [The words 'in such area and' omitted by G.S.R. 1286(E), dated 15.12.1986.] on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the [Delhi Gazette] [Substituted by G.S.R. 1286(E), dated 15.12.1986, for 'Official Gazette'.], appoint in this behalf.
