धारा 1 · Short title, extent and commencement

(1)

This Act may be called the Societies Registration ([Dadra and Nagar Haveli] [Substituted 'Goa, Daman and Diu' by Notification No. G.S.R. 1039(E), dated 17.10.2018.] First Amendment) Act, 1979. [as extended to the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli] [Inserted by Notification No. G.S.R. 1039(E), dated 17.10.2018.]

It extends to the whole of the Union territory of [Dadra and Nagar Haveli] [Substituted 'Goa, Daman and Diu' by Notification No. G.S.R. 1039(E), dated 17.10.2018.].

It shall come into force at once.
