धारा 5 · Disqualification for Membership

- A person shall not be qualified for being nominated or elected as a member of the Mandal, if :-

(a)

He is not a citizen of India; or

(b)

He is an undischarged insolvent; or

(c)

He is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; or

(d)

He has been sentenced for an offence involving moral turpitude;

(e)

He is an employee of the Mandal, and is remunerated by salary or honorarium; or

(f)

His name has been removed from the State Register.
