धारा 7 · Service of Notice

(1)

Every notice or order issued or made under this Act or the rules may be served in person or on by properly addressing it to the last known place of residence or business of such person by registered post with acknowledgement due letter containing the notice or order.

(2)

An acknowledgement purporting to be signed by such person or an endorsement by a postal employee that the person refused to take delivery may be deemed to be prima facie proof of service :Provided that if service of the notice cannot be effected by any manner provided under this Act. or rules made thereunder, a copy thereof shall be affixed at the notice board of the Registrar or Officer whom power has been delegated and last known place of residence of the person noticed or at some place of public resort in such place.
