धारा 4 · Sources of recruitment

- Appointment to the Service shall be made by one or more of the following methods as may be decided by the Governor on each occasion:-

(a)

direct recruitment in accordance with the Rules in Part III of these Rules.

(b)

promotion in accordance with the Rules in Part IV of these Rules.

(c)

transfer from such other services or posts as are comparable with the service in status and emoluments, as may be specified by the Governor from time to time.

Note - Comparable service or post means any service or post declared and specified as such by the Governor from time to time by notification in the Official Gazette keeping in view its responsibilities, status and emoluments attached to it.
