- The seniority of persons substantively appointed in the service shall be determined in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh State Government Servant Seniority Rules, 1991 as amended from time to time :Provided that a combined seniority list of the officers of Men's Branch and Women's Branch as it existed prior to commencement of these rules shall be prepared in order of the date of their substantive appointment :Provided further that if the dates of their substantive appointment are the same, the candidate who are senior in age shall be placed higher in the seniority list.
