Section 8 · Secretary and Other Officers

- The Government may,-

(i)

appoint an Officer of the Fisheries Department not below the rank of Assistant Director of the concerned district as Member Secretary of the District Committee; and

(ii)

provide the District Committee with such technical and other staff as the Government considers necessary.
